DONOTPRESS
Interactive web experience
A giant red button, a million presses until the end, and a numbered certificate for every paid press.

01Context
Most of the web asks for attention and gives nothing back. The idea: one button the whole internet can press, where pressing it means something.
02Approach
One rule people understand instantly, a public counter, and a reason to come back: whoever pressed last holds the button until somebody takes it.
03Product
The first press is free. After that, each press costs $1 and puts a name on a numbered, permanent certificate, and a public clock counts the current holder’s reign.

04System
Payments are credited only from Stripe’s own signed message, checked so that every payment counts exactly once.
Built with React · Vite · Hono · MySQL · Stripe
05Outcome
Built, with payments wired to Stripe. Until payments are switched on it runs in demo mode, and says so on the page.
